Epic PC X Series by Djayness

Project log: Here

Here we have another nominee whose work is so detailed and numerous we've only managed to get a tiny fraction of it into their page of fame! Djayness from Epic PC first graced us with Epic PC X Series at the beginning of February but has since uploaded a wealth of images and info about this promising scratch build.

Built primarily of glossy black acrylic, Epic PC X Series features countless different modding skills from etching to acrylic work and Djayness has even made his own reservoir and fantastic-looking water blocks that certainly seem to rival the like of EK and XSPC.

The case is coming along nicely too and took its proper form a couple of weeks ago. Things will likely get very interesting over the next few weeks so heading over to Djayness's project log is a must! Seeing as I've mentioned porn already this month, I can safely say there's some water cooling porn to be had too.

Once of the first things to take form was the custom reservoir seen here. This was later etched to with an Epic PC logo as well as water level marks. Here's some of that gorgeous black acrylic, already etched with an X series logo.

The side panel of the case is equally elegant and features a large side window. On the right we can see the case itself just begging for some shiny hardware. Just visible is the mount for a double 120mm radiator in the front panel and having seen the various panels in the project log, we know there's another one in the roof too.

One part we felt we had to include was what appears to a route for tubing. It looks great with compression fittings.

Now for the water cooling! The first attempt went a bit wrong due to splintering and melting of the copper bases while Djayness was finding the right speed and number of passes on the milling machine. However the second attempt was much better and produced some of the best homemade water blocks we've seen.

As we already mentioned this is just the tip of the iceberg as far as the Epic PC X Series project log goes so make sure you check it out here.

If you think Djayness deserves your vote then head over to our forums.

I liked all of them except the guitar....
Not sure why someone would do that (it definitely doesn't look pretty or interesting to me)

That A380 looks quite something.

If the guitar still works, and you can fit a pickup, I'm doing one for myself!
